Allison began studying the violin in 2014. Growing up, she was selected to the TMEA All-Region
Orchestra for six consecutive years. She was involved with multiple youth orchestras in her local
community, and supplemented her musical training with being part of United Sound, where she
taught kids with learning disabilities how to play violin. In college, she continued performing as a
member of the University of Texas University Orchestra and various chamber groups.
Allison graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2025 and is currently attending
medical school. As an instructor, she is dedicated to cultivating a supportive and engaging
learning environment. She tailors her teaching to fit each student’s individual goals and learning
style, with an emphasis on building confidence, strong fundamentals, and a lasting appreciation
for music.
In her free time, Allison enjoys playing racket sports, board games, and exploring Houston’s
food scene.
