Susan Lu

Susan Lu began studying piano in 2000, performing solo and chamber recitals. From 2014-2018, she provided piano accompaniments for Fort Bend ISD orchestra students at UIL competitions.

She majored in economics and minored in music at the University of Texas, where she studied at the Butler School of Music under Sophia Gilmson. While at UT, she was a member of the Music Teachers National Association. In 2019, Susan graduated with a MS in Finance. Her favorite composers include Franz Schubert and Felix Mendelssohn.

In addition to her 20 years of experience with classical piano repertoire, Susan also plays Broadway and choral worship music. She has also taught voice lessons for four years.
